Mt Hope, OH – July, 2019 – The West Coast Barrel Racing Association (WCBRA) and Troxel Helmets have partnered to sweeten the Helmet Side Pot at the 2019 WCBRA Finals which is held September 1-3 in King City, California.
The $200 per round added money Troxel Helmet Side Pot is open to all competitors at the WCBRA Finals who are wearing an ASTM/SEI certified equestrian helmet. Over $6,500 was awarded at the first-ever WCBRA Finals Helmet Side Pot in 2018. In addition to the 80% payout in the 5D format, Troxel is awarding a $100 Helmet Certificate to each round winner and average winner. The Helmet Side Pot gives riders the chance to win substantial added money, all for making the decision to protect themselves by wearing a helmet.
