On June 22, 2010, Troxel donated $10,000-worth of equestrian helmets to help make it easier for disabled children to experience the thrill of riding horses.
As part of the 'Lend a Hand' program on NBC's Today Show, where Al Roker embarks on a cross-country charity trip, Troxel made the donation to Eagle Mount Theraputic Riding Program in Bozeman, Montana. Eagle Mount is a charity that creates recreational and theraputic opportunities for people with disabilities.
Troxel donated a variety of helmets to meet the diverse needs of Eagle Mount—the comfortable, stylish Cheyenne, the youth-friendly Legacy and Troxel's best-selling Spirit, which features an easily adjustable dial that will safely fit the widest range of riders. In all, more than 100 helmets were donated.
In its ninth year, "Lend a Hand" continues its mission to help small charities across the country improve conditions in their communities. Learn more on the Today Show website.
